Getting yourself set up at the campground can mean a lot of different things. However, if you’re wanting to plan an extended stay, having everything organized and tidy when you arrive is a must. Below, we’ll give you our best RV tips to help you keep down the clutter.
Use Tensions Rods in the Refrigerator and Cabinets
When packing for your vacation, you won’t have to worry about things sliding around or falling out of place. You can keep your refrigerator and cabinets organized by adding tension rods to the space. Use them anywhere you don’t want things sliding, like your spice cabinet, around mugs, plates, cups, and even in the bathroom to keep toiletries in place.
Set up a “Catch All” Location
We have a rolling cart that stays near the front door. This is our “catch-all” station for keys, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, and anything else we need to grab right before heading out the door. You use a basket, a couple of hanging hooks, or a cart.
Add Hooks or Shelving to Cabinets and Closets
Lastly, you’ll want to improve your storage spaces in the same way you would at home. If you prefer to hang things on hooks, add command hooks to your closets for hats, scarves, jackets, and more. In your cabinets, add drawer systems or organizers to help keep everything organized and easy to find.
